The Birth of the Concept
I clearly dont remember when was that when we suddenly responded to an urge to go to Quinapon-an, Antequera, Bohol. An uphill barangay. A friend of us lives there. My wife and me started packing some bread and powder juice. The plan was just to drop by for a few minutes and be back home before noontime.
We live in Danicop, Antequera, Bohol. About seven (7) kilometers from Quinapon-an. So, the plan seems to look wonderful.
We arrived in our friend's house by about 10:00am. Surely fortunate enough, they were packing too, in a multicab. They were going to their newly developed mountain farm less than a kilometer from their home.
So, we decided to go with them.
Clearly we don't have any idea of whatsoever may happen up in the hill farm. We still have the initial mindset that we have to stay for a few minutes.
When we arrived at the foot of the hill, we were a little taken by the walk upward. It was as if we were going camping.
Indeed, it is.
When we get to the top, we have a kind of feeling that we were totally out of the world. It was a very refreshing experience.
There was one nipa hut built. And there were different gardens of sort surrounding the hut. A water supply and electricity is also available.
The few minutes as planned turned into lunch-over situation. The host (the couple friend) prepared something taken from anywhere in the farm.
We had a little taste of the organic living that they were trying to introduce to us.
As we were going home, we come up with an idea to build a website that focuses on organic living. However, we will concentrate on what can be found on the farm first.
It was just a little plan. Well, it's not gonna be that easy. But none the least, we have to implement it.
